Luke and Meagan are such a cute couple. After deciding to move to the mountains, they realised they found more than just peace there. Read more about their love story below.
HOW WE MET
"Luke and I (Megan) officially met at the beach where we were both working for a company that taught surf lessons. I was only there for the summer, and we only crossed paths a few times. We talked occasionally, and connected over social media, but that was all for the time being. Fast forward 2 years, and I moved back to the beach. Within a few months of me being back, Luke had gone off to Africa for 6 months to do missions/farming work. It was almost like we kept missing each other. When he got back, we reconnected through a small group at church, and the rest is history. It wasn’t long into knowing each other that we knew there was something very special. We dated for a few months, and then decided to move to the mountains to work on farms. Luke worked with livestock, and I worked with flowers."
THE PROPOSAL
After 2 months of being there, we went on a hike one weekend that was supposed to be a surprise to me. I wondered if this would be the proposal, but can anyone ever tell for 100% certainty that it’s going to happen right then and there? When we got to the top of the mountain, we had a picnic and Luke handed me a note. At the end of the note, he wrote something about his “soon to be fiancé,” and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! So that’s our story, and we are getting married on March 27th!"
And I may have already told him exactly whichring I wanted from you, but it was still just as exciting to see it on my finger!
